What is One Financial Markets' policy on corporate events?
Your account will be adjusted to reflect any corporate action which may affect the Equity (Share) you may be holding. Due to the nature of CFDs, you do not receive the same rights of a shareholder. A dividend adjustment is credited to long positions and debited from short positions held at the close of business on the day before the ex-dividend date
In the event of rights issues and splits One Financial Markets will adjust open positions in proportion to your exposure in the underlying market, such that the contract value remains unchanged.
In the event of a merger or takeover One Financial Markets will close your position at the settlement price of that instruments last trading day.
