The company comprises of 14 product service lines which operate through two divisions. These are the Drilling and Evaluation division, which provides field and reservoir modelling, drilling, evaluation and precise well-bore placement solutions. The Completion and Production division delivers cementing, stimulation, well intervention, pressure control, pipeline and process services and completion services.

Founded in 1919, Halliburton Co. employs more than 50,000 people in more than 80 countries. It has dual headquarters in Houston, Texas in the United States and in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The company remains incorporated in the US.

Halliburton Co. is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The company is a component of both the S&P 100 and S&P 500 stock exchange indices.
