Bovis Homes Group PLC traces its beginnings to as far back as 1885 when Charles William Bovis established a general building company named C.W. Bovis & Co. In 1965, Bovis Homes was formed as a separate company, and in 1997, it was floated on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and changed its name to Bovis Homes Group PLC.
