Midday movers: Nvidia, Domino's Pizza, Wayfair and more

By Liz Moyer

Investing.com -- Stocks were falling on Thursday as fears about interest rates overtook positive earnings from Nvidia. Here are the midday movers for Feb. 23.

  • NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) shares rose 12.7% after the chip maker said artificial intelligence is boosting its momentum, helping it beat forecasts for top and bottom results in the recent quarter.
  • Domino’s Pizza Inc (NYSE:DPZ) shares fell 12.6% after the pizza delivery chain fell short of expectations for same-store sales in the recent quarter, with pressure on its delivery business in the U.S.
  • Wayfair Inc (NYSE:W) shares fell 27% after the online furniture and home goods retailer reported a wider-than-expected fourth-quarter loss. The company lost five million customers last year as a pandemic-fueled buying spree fizzled out.

  • Lucid Group Inc (NASDAQ:LCID) shares fell 15% after the electric vehicle maker forecast it would deliver 10,000 to 14,000 vehicles this year, but that was short of analyst expectations for 20,000 to 22,000.
  • Unity Software Inc (NYSE:U) shares tumbled 17% after the video game software developer said it isn't expecting a rebound in in-game ads this year. Its first-quarter revenue outlook fell short of estimates.
