Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.13%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Cement, Energy&Utilities and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.13%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070), which rose 9.98% or 2.20 points to trade at 24.24 at the close. Meanwhile, Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) added 7.51% or 0.88 points to end at 12.60 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:8150) was up 5.21% or 0.60 points to 12.12 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which fell 5.35% or 2.20 points to trade at 38.90 at the close. Al Gassim Investment Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:6020) declined 3.86% or 1.00 points to end at 24.90 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:8160) was down 2.28% or 0.26 points to 11.12.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 133 to 118 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.16% or 0.13 to $80.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.14% or 0.12 to hit $84.87 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 12.00 to trade at $2,023.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.08% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 101.63.
