
Investing.com – France stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Basic Materials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher while losses in the Industrials, Aerospace&Defense and Construction&Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 declined 1.28% to hit a new 6-months low, while the SBF 120 index added 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Worldline SA (EPA:WLN), which rose 9.06% or 0.97 points to trade at 11.62 at the close. Meanwhile, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE (EPA:URW) added 3.43% or 1.48 points to end at 44.64 and Teleperformance SE (EPA:TEPRF) was up 3.38% or 3.35 points to 102.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sanofi SA (EPA:SASY), which fell 18.93% or 19.02 points to trade at 81.44 at the close. STMicroelectronics NV (EPA:STMPA) declined 3.63% or 1.42 points to end at 37.54 and Pernod Ricard SA (EPA:PERP) was down 1.93% or 3.25 points to 165.00.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Clariane SE (EPA:CLARI) which rose 10.15% to 3.71, Worldline SA (EPA:WLN) which was up 9.06% to settle at 11.62 and SEB SA (EPA:SEBF) which gained 6.72% to close at 92.95.
The worst performers were Sanofi SA (EPA:SASY) which was down 18.93% to 81.44 in late trade, SES Imagotag (EPA:SESL) which lost 11.73% to settle at 85.00 and Remy Cointreau (EPA:RCOP) which was down 11.29% to 104.55 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 287 to 218 and 95 ended unchanged.

The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.33% or 6.55 to $1,990.85 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.02% or 0.85 to hit $84.06 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.13% or 0.99 to trade at $88.92 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.27% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 106.25.
