Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.13%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Technology sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.13% to hit a new 52-week high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which rose 9.22% or 7,670.00 points to trade at 90,860.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 4.37% or 78.00 points to end at 1,864.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) was up 4.17% or 1,200.00 points to 30,000.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 4.48% or 1,090.00 points to trade at 23,240.00 at the close. Shikun&Binui (TASE:SKBN) declined 2.76% or 26.00 points to end at 917.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) was down 2.65% or 26.00 points to 955.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 260 to 202 and 74 ended unchanged.

Shares in NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.22% or 7,670.00 to 90,860.00.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.41% or 0.32 to $78.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.23% or 0.19 to hit $83.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.65 to trade at $2,033.65 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.92% to 3.64, while EUR/ILS fell 0.94% to 3.93.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 103.99.
