
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which rose 4.20% or 105.00 points to trade at 2,605.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 3.72% or 1,080.00 points to end at 30,150.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 2.07% or 1,350.00 points to 66,680.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shikun&Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 3.83% or 38.00 points to trade at 941.00 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) declined 2.45% or 147.00 points to end at 5,842.00 and Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) was down 1.96% or 68.00 points to 3,394.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 231 to 229 and 76 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nova (TASE:NVMI) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.07% or 1,350.00 to 66,680.00.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.88% or 0.70 to $79.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.47% or 0.39 to hit $83.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.94% or 19.75 to trade at $2,115.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.65% to 3.58, while EUR/ILS rose 0.63% to 3.89.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 103.71.
