
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Hotels&Tourism, Telecoms&IT and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which rose 7.14% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) added 5.74% or 3.10 points to end at 57.10 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) was up 5.41% or 14.20 points to 276.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seera Group Holding (TADAWUL:1810), which fell 9.91% or 3.25 points to trade at 29.55 at the close. Alkhaleej Training&Education Co (TADAWUL:4290) declined 9.88% or 3.70 points to end at 33.75 and AYYAN Investment Co SJSC (TADAWUL:2140) was down 7.56% or 2.20 points to 26.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 228 to 59 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) rose to all time highs; up 5.74% or 3.10 to 57.10. Shares in International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) rose to all time highs; up 5.41% or 14.20 to 276.80.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.73% or 0.58 to $79.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.55% or 0.46 to hit $83.09 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 4.50 to trade at $2,091.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 103.79.
