
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy&Utilities, Real Estate Development and Agriculture&Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.03% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230), which rose 9.87% or 12.40 points to trade at 138.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180) added 6.38% or 2.15 points to end at 35.85 and First Milling Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2283) was up 5.63% or 4.20 points to 78.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 7.14% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.13 at the close. National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291) declined 5.95% or 9.40 points to end at 148.60 and Arriyadh Development Co. (TADAWUL:4150) was down 5.91% or 1.42 points to 22.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 233 to 58 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) fell to 52-week lows; falling 7.14% or 0.01 to 0.13. Shares in Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180) rose to 52-week highs; rising 6.38% or 2.15 to 35.85.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.26% or 0.22 to $83.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.14% or 0.12 to hit $88.30 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 8.85 to trade at $2,333.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 4.01, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 105.76.
