The company is best known for its flagship product Coca-Cola which was invented in 1886 by John Stith Pemberton, a pharmacist in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1894, The Coca-Cola formula and brand were bought by Asa Griggs Candler, who ultimately incorporated The Coca-Cola Company.
