Poor earning results and the Dow rallies. The financials making up a large percentage of the composite all reported poor results, Goldman Sachs in particular for the 2nd time in 12 years reported earnings down. The Dow rallies 200 points from a 11279 closing at 11556. The European problem still prevalent and euro rallies. The US are talking about trade wars with China. The S&P rallies.
They want to start a conflict with a country which owes a vast amount of their debt in the form of US Treasuries, are they insane.
I can't see how this is a boost for consumer confidence these movements are mere speculative trades rather than based on firm economic data. The fall will be ugly , be cautious.
