Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil&Gas and Software&Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 10.75% or 17.95 points to trade at 185.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 2.54% or 2.70 points to end at 109.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 1.81% or 3.62 points to 203.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which fell 1.47% or 5.20 points to trade at 348.50 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 1.28% or 6.80 points to end at 524.20 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 1.16% or 130.00 points to 11,110.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 64 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.16% or 130.00 to 11,110.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.47% or 2.58 to $71.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 3.19% or 2.50 to hit $75.86 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.98% or 19.25 to trade at $1,945.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 104.18.
