Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.92%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.92%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which rose 3.74% or 38.00 points to trade at 1,054.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 3.46% or 4.40 points to end at 131.40 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 1.13% or 10.40 points to 927.30 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb), which fell 0.90% or 3.70 points to trade at 408.60 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 0.87% or 1.70 points to end at 192.80 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 0.45% or 4.20 points to 929.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 57 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.71% or 0.55 to $77.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.53% or 0.43 to hit $81.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 14.25 to trade at $2,352.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 104.62.
