Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.35%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal&Household Goods, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.35%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 3.17% or 4.75 points to trade at 154.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) added 2.54% or 9.30 points to end at 375.80 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 1.33% or 14.00 points to 1,068.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which fell 1.19% or 1.75 points to trade at 144.80 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 1.07% or 12.00 points to end at 1,114.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 0.71% or 6.10 points to 848.90.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 69 and 9 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 3.11% or 2.43 to $80.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.39% or 1.96 to hit $84.00 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 12.75 to trade at $2,154.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.43% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 103.26.
