Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.36%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal&Household Goods, Oil&Gas and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.36%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 3.53% or 4.15 points to trade at 121.65 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 1.90% or 20.00 points to end at 1,075.00 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 1.76% or 38.00 points to 2,196.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 1.27% or 11.80 points to trade at 919.80 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 0.93% or 1.76 points to end at 186.80 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 0.93% or 6.50 points to 692.20.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 73 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.84% or 0.62 to $73.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.66% or 0.52 to hit $78.36 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 2.22% or 46.45 to trade at $2,043.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.60% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 103.68.
