Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.50%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Personal&Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.50%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 4.01% or 6.00 points to trade at 155.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 3.29% or 25.60 points to end at 804.40 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 2.71% or 4.68 points to 177.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 3.10% or 67.00 points to trade at 2,091.00 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) declined 1.49% or 16.00 points to end at 1,055.00 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 0.94% or 4.30 points to 452.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 64 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) fell to 52-week lows; down 0.94% or 4.30 to 452.00.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.13% or 0.10 to $75.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.21% or 0.17 to hit $80.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 6.35 to trade at $2,009.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 103.32.
