Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.58%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Real Estate and Personal&Household Goods sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.58%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 5.31% or 7.60 points to trade at 150.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 2.01% or 9.80 points to end at 496.20 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 1.94% or 7.40 points to 388.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 2.22% or 2.95 points to trade at 130.10 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 1.84% or 5.70 points to end at 303.50 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 1.68% or 5.10 points to 298.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 57 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.11% or 0.10 to $88.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.15% or 0.14 to hit $92.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 2.15 to trade at $1,932.95 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.16% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 104.34.
