Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.64%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal&Household Goods, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.64%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 0.55% or 1.06 points to trade at 194.40 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 0.11% or 1.50 points to end at 1,309.50 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 0.08% or 0.40 points to 521.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.55% or 2.80 points to trade at 107.00 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 2.50% or 24.80 points to end at 966.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 2.47% or 7.20 points to 284.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 60 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.02% or 1.48 to $71.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.10% or 1.62 to hit $75.39 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.35 to trade at $2,031.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.44% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 101.50.
