Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.79%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Personal&Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.79%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 4.68% or 96.00 points to trade at 2,146.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 0.51% or 48.00 points to end at 9,526.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 0.14% or 1.50 points to 1,065.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 3.00% or 3.65 points to trade at 118.00 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 2.52% or 9.40 points to end at 363.10 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was down 1.53% or 8.60 points to 554.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 51 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.33% or 0.26 to $78.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.60% or 0.49 to hit $82.57 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 2.25 to trade at $2,187.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 102.43.
