Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.80%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.80%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 1.75% or 2.20 points to trade at 128.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 1.05% or 1.90 points to end at 183.20 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 0.63% or 1.05 points to 167.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 1.81% or 2.20 points to trade at 119.60 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 1.21% or 10.20 points to end at 833.90 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 1.13% or 4.20 points to 366.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 73 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.01% or 0.78 to $78.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.69% or 0.56 to hit $82.23 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 4.65 to trade at $2,043.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.02% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 103.67.
