Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.01%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil&Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.01%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 6.31% or 10.35 points to trade at 174.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 5.12% or 52.50 points to end at 1,078.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 4.35% or 4.80 points to 115.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which fell 15.12% or 1,910.00 points to trade at 10,720.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 14.69% or 1,890.00 points to end at 10,975.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 2.13% or 4.26 points to 195.90.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 59 and 11 ended unchanged.

Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to all time highs; rising 5.12% or 52.50 to 1,078.00.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.63% or 1.94 to $75.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.54% or 2.01 to hit $81.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 7.05 to trade at $2,044.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.06% to 6.93, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 104.13.
