Investing.com - Stock futures ticked lower on Monday evening, following a public holiday as investors looked ahead to key speeches from Fed officials and FOMC members throughout the week.
By 18:20 ET (22:20 GMT), Dow Jones futures fell 0.3%, while S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures lost 0.2% apiece.
Ahead in Tuesday's trade, market participants will be closely monitoring preliminary building permits, housing starts, and speeches from FOMC members Bullard and Williams.
On the earnings front, companies including FedEx Corporation (NYSE:FDX), Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY), and La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE:LZB) are expected to report quarterly results.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at 3.822%.
