
Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 added 0.51% to hit a new all time high, while the SBF 120 index climbed 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were EssilorLuxottica SA (EPA:ESLX), which rose 6.27% or 11.00 points to trade at 186.52 at the close. Meanwhile, L’Oreal SA (EPA:OREP) added 3.04% or 13.05 points to end at 442.60 and Eurofins Scientific SE (EPA:EUFI) was up 1.63% or 0.98 points to 61.14 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT), which fell 3.83% or 1.03 points to trade at 25.88 at the close. Airbus Group SE (EPA:AIR) declined 1.52% or 1.96 points to end at 127.32 and Renault SA (EPA:RENA) was down 1.14% or 0.38 points to 33.31.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were EssilorLuxottica SA (EPA:ESLX) which rose 6.27% to 186.52, Inter Parfums Inc. (EPA:IPAR) which was up 3.45% to settle at 74.90 and Gaztransport et Technigaz SA (EPA:GTT) which gained 3.35% to close at 95.55.
The worst performers were Ipsos (EPA:ISOS) which was down 13.21% to 47.78 in late trade, Casino Guichard Perrachon SA (EPA:CASP) which lost 6.83% to settle at 6.47 and Solutions 30 SE (EPA:S30) which was down 5.03% to 2.11 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 313 to 221 and 99 ended unchanged.

The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 1.29% or 25.95 to $1,993.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.56% or 0.43 to hit $77.80 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 0.67% or 0.54 to trade at $81.64 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.23% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.23% to 0.88.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 101.43.
