Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.23%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil&Gas, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.23%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which rose 4.00% or 3,080.00 points to trade at 80,030.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) added 3.40% or 214.00 points to end at 6,500.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 2.21% or 230.00 points to 10,660.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Harel (TASE:HARL), which fell 2.30% or 73.00 points to trade at 3,106.00 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) declined 2.21% or 133.00 points to end at 5,876.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 1.91% or 103.00 points to 5,280.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 255 to 209 and 71 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.26% or 0.19 to $73.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.28% or 0.22 to hit $78.81 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 4.45 to trade at $2,055.85 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.30% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS rose 0.43% to 3.93.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 103.93.
