Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which rose 5.51% or 4,290.00 points to trade at 82,090.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil&Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 3.85% or 189.00 points to end at 5,101.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was up 3.08% or 78.00 points to 2,612.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which fell 2.18% or 60.00 points to trade at 2,690.00 at the close. Leumi (TASE:LUMI) declined 2.15% or 60.00 points to end at 2,730.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was down 1.94% or 3,300.00 points to 167,000.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 262 to 208 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 3.10% or 2.08 to $69.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 3.10% or 2.23 to hit $74.07 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 9.95 to trade at $1,959.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.99% to 3.56, while EUR/ILS fell 0.63% to 3.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 102.82.
