
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Real Estate and Oil&Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE), which rose 4.64% or 178.00 points to trade at 4,013.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 3.71% or 102.00 points to end at 2,854.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 3.05% or 2,220.00 points to 74,970.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which fell 2.75% or 153.00 points to trade at 5,402.00 at the close. Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) declined 2.31% or 21.70 points to end at 919.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was down 1.98% or 810.00 points to 40,030.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 240 to 168 and 126 ended unchanged.
Shares in Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.64% or 178.00 to 4,013.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.23% or 0.83 to $68.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.97% or 0.69 to hit $71.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.80 to trade at $2,526.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.09% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS rose 0.71% to 4.16.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 101.52.
