
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Oil&Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE), which rose 3.35% or 30.00 points to trade at 938.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE) added 3.20% or 122.00 points to end at 3,932.00 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was up 2.85% or 100.00 points to 3,610.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which fell 3.06% or 4,840.00 points to trade at 153,500.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) declined 2.29% or 48.00 points to end at 2,052.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 1.88% or 103.00 points to 5,375.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 236 to 231 and 72 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.85% or 0.71 to $83.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.60% or 0.52 to hit $87.52 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 17.60 to trade at $2,256.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.06% to 3.68, while EUR/ILS fell 0.52% to 3.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 104.69.
