
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which rose 4.07% or 100.00 points to trade at 2,555.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 3.57% or 910.00 points to end at 26,370.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) was up 2.28% or 152.00 points to 6,830.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI), which fell 3.00% or 440.00 points to trade at 14,210.00 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 2.32% or 2,130.00 points to end at 89,640.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was down 1.84% or 42.00 points to 2,235.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 270 to 205 and 62 ended unchanged.
Shares in Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) rose to all time highs; rising 3.57% or 910.00 to 26,370.00.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.25% or 0.18 to $72.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $77.59 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.45 to trade at $2,032.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.25% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS rose 0.61% to 4.10.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 102.09.
