
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Biomed and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 1.61% or 460.00 points to trade at 28,950.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:HARL) added 1.61% or 49.00 points to end at 3,085.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 1.34% or 59.00 points to 4,459.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which fell 3.54% or 195.00 points to trade at 5,315.00 at the close. Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) declined 3.24% or 331.00 points to end at 9,879.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was down 2.79% or 380.00 points to 13,250.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 250 to 211 and 77 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.67% or 0.51 to $76.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.57% or 0.46 to hit $81.01 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.75 to trade at $2,068.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.62% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS rose 0.73% to 3.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 103.26.
