Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 1.41%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Communication, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.41%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 5.42% or 2,010.00 points to trade at 39,100.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) added 2.25% or 270.00 points to end at 12,290.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 1.21% or 930.00 points to 77,890.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 6.50% or 4,250.00 points to trade at 61,150.00 at the close. Shikun&Binui (TASE:SKBN) declined 4.96% or 38.00 points to end at 728.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was down 3.72% or 1,480.00 points to 38,340.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 378 to 86 and 75 ended unchanged.

Shares in Shikun&Binui (TASE:SKBN) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.96% or 38.00 to 728.00. Shares in Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.72% or 1,480.00 to 38,340.00.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.40% or 0.29 to $73.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.41% or 0.32 to hit $77.84 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 20.40 to trade at $2,367.80 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.70% to 3.71, while EUR/ILS rose 0.58% to 4.03.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 104.38.
