Investing.com -- Stocks were mixed on Wednesday after stronger than expected retail sales stoked fears about interest rates. Here are the midday movers for Feb. 15.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (NYSE:TSM) shares fell 5.8% after Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRKa) disclosed that it cut its stake in the contract chipmaker by 86% in the fourth quarter.
Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE:DVN) shares fell 12% after the shale energy producer reported disappointing results for the fourth quarter and said first-quarter production could be affected by infrastructure outages. Daily production is expected to fall slightly from the fourth quarter.
