
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Insurance and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.58% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240), which rose 10.00% or 2.50 points to trade at 27.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160) added 9.97% or 6.00 points to end at 66.20 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) was up 6.33% or 1.50 points to 25.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 7.14% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.13 at the close. Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213) declined 3.89% or 2.40 points to end at 59.30 and Al Masane Al Kobra Mining Company CJSC (TADAWUL:1322) was down 3.29% or 1.90 points to 55.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 169 to 107 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) rose to 52-week highs; up 10.00% or 2.50 to 27.50. Shares in Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.97% or 6.00 to 66.20.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.61% or 0.44 to $71.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.10% or 0.08 to hit $77.07 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 11.70 to trade at $2,071.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.36% to 4.15, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 101.06.
