Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) stock rose 1.3% after CEO Elon Musk said he will not sell any more of the electric car manufacturer’s stock for around two years, removing some of the overhang which has contributed to its deep selloff.
Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META) stock rose 0.4% after the Facebook owner agreed to pay $725 million to resolve a class-action lawsuit accusing the social media giant of allowing third parties, including Cambridge Analytica, to access users' personal information.
Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ:ATVI) stock rose 0.2% after Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), up 0.2%, defended its $69B bid to buy the "Call of Duty" maker, saying it would benefit gamers and gaming companies alike.
